The Buccaneers added two players and cut two players Wednesday in moves that may signal defensive tackle Vita Vea’s injury to be more severe than initially reported.

The two players waived were offensive lineman Mike Liedtke and quarterback Vincent Testaverde. Liedtke was released under an injury designation. To fill those roster spots, the Buccaneers signed safety John Battle and defensive tackle Stevie Tu’ikolovatu.

The Buccaneers originally drafted Tu’ikolovatu in the seventh-round in 2017, but the team waived him in May.

Battle was an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets but was waived in June. He was a teammate of Devin White’s at LSU.
