Accolades:
– Second Team All-Big Ten (2019)
– Third Team All-Big Ten (2017)
Video:
Pros:
– Great tackler
– In the box Safety
– Great against the run
Cons:
– Lack of long speed
– Struggles with man coverage
– Tends to grab when beaten
Summary:
Hudson, while listed as a linebacker is more of an in the box safety, think Derwin James. He does struggle covering athletic tight ends and is sometimes physical to a fault in doing so. Look for Hudson to be a special teams player as well as quality depth. Hudson should be a mid-late 2nd rounder, if not a 3rd rounder.
