Austin Seferian-Jenkins keen on returning

At this stage of the season, it would be a blessing to have ASJ return. With Louis Murphy and Vincent Jackson injured, it leaves Jameis Winston only a couple of receivers to target. Mike Evans and the backup receivers and tight ends have played well, but it’s always nice to have your stars in place.

“It’s too early to know if Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins will return this week from a shoulder injury. Still, he’s hopeful his time as a Sunday spectator is almost over.” “I go into every week with optimism,” Seferian-Jenkins said Wednesday. “After I hurt my shoulder, the first week I believed that I was going to play. So I always have great optimism. I’m excited about this week. I’m excited about preparing for the Giants.” – Reported by Andrew Astleford
