Could Marshawn Lynch retire?

With Marshawn Lynch set to receive $11.5 million dollars for 2016, it’s likely that he will not be on the Seahawks roster. Marshawn Lynch, who will most likely not consider a pay cut would likely retire from the game, as opposed to going to another team. I would suspect that there are plenty of teams, with the kind of capital necessary to sign Lynch. But, would he even acknowledge the notion of playing in another uniform? I highly doubt “Beast Mode” could see himself, on any other roster.

“After weighing retirement in each of the past two offseasons, Marshawn Lynch might finally be ready to walk away from football. Appearing Friday on Seattle’s KIRO-AM, general manager John Schneider said he is under the impression that Lynch is leaning toward retirement after a disappointing 2015 season. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport added he’s under that impression as well. Schneider said the Seahawks intend to ‘treat (Lynch) with as much respect as we possibly can here and give him a little leeway to kind of find his way in terms of what he wants to do.'”
