Kenny Bell is one of the many receivers looking to take the third spot on Tampa’s depth chart. After high expectations, his rookie season was spent on injury reserve, but that did not stop him from being part of the team. He traveled with the team, and took part of all the learning activities, enhancing his knowledge of the game, and of the Buccaneers offensive schemes. Offensive coordinator Todd Monken likes what he is seeing from the second-year WR. “Kenny’s got talent. Kenny can run, he can bend, he’s athletic, he’s really smart. I think he’s excited about getting back out there and giving himself a chance to compete. Sure. I think you can always benefit from standing back and watching. I think that helped Kenny. I think he’s getting better every day.” With V-Jax And Evans locking down the one and two spot, Kenny Bell looks to be the most promising to control the third spot. Louis Murphy was the owner of that spot at the beginning of the 2015 season but exited the season with a serious knee injury. With receivers like Adam Humphries, and Donteea Dye, there will be a free for all battle for that third, but I remain confident that Kenny Bell will win out in the end.
