The Buccaneers recently waived rookie Elijah Shumate he will receive an injury settlement. Shumate was an undrafted free agent that suffered a wrist injury during training camp. He had originally signed a three-year $1.6 million contract, with Tampa this year.
When Shumate fully recovers, he will likely find a spot on another team.
