Evans To Tackle The Starting Free Safety Spot

Going into the offseason safety was a position of need. Not many fans thought they would draft one before the glaring needs of running back and cornerback. With Bradley McDougald exiting stage left to the Seattle Seahawks it left the position thin in depth.

Drafting Justin Evans with the 50th pick in the NFL draft. Safety has become an interesting battle heading into camp.

Justin Evans is known for his heavy bone crushing hits, and now he is ready to tackle the starting Free Safety position.

He may be the youngest of the group, but he has the most athleticism. He is known for missing tackles, but that is something that can be easily corrected. The safety position will be a bit of battle for Evans, but that battle is something that Evans will have no problem taking head on.
