Matt Elam, who is a former first-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens back in 2013, is in trouble with the law. Again. For the second time this year, Elam was arrested in Florida.
Back in February of 2017, Elam was arrested for Possession of Canibus (126 grams) and Oxycodone (6 pills), when he was pulled over for reckless driving in Miami.
This time he was arrested in Delray, Florida for allegedly fighting his girlfriend over a cell phone that supposedly paid for. Elam took the phone from her and left her with some scrapes and bruises. When the police caught up with Elam he had told them that he asked his girlfriend for some money and when she refused he took back the cell phone. He also stated that she took his cellphone in return.
Elam is being charged with Battery and Grand Theft.
