Chris Godwin has put pen to paper.

Godwin’s signing completes the Buccaneers draft class, as all are now under contract. He has signed a standard four-year rookie contract worth close to $3.2 million and will receive a $792,164 signing bonus. While at Pennstate Godwin was extremely productive recording 2,421 yards, 18 touchdowns, on 154 receptions. Last season he caught 59 passes for 982 yards and 11 touchdowns which overshadow his 2015 season in which he scored fewer touchdowns (5)  but he had caught more passes (69) for slightly more yards (1,101).

Godwin should prove to be a productive addition to the Buccaneers arsenal and is already turning heads in OTAS. Many are of a belief that Godwin could be a day starter at number three on the depth chart, meaning he could bump Adam Humphries. His ability to run routes and his versatility give him big play possibilities and he could be seen lining up just about anywhere on the field.
