Report: Kwon Alexander feared to have torn ACL

0

It has been reported that the team fears that MLB Kwon Alexander has torn his ACL during the final defensive play of the first half per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.  It appears that this was a non-contact injury.

Alexander is in a contract year, and unfortunately will more than likely not be able to prove his worth as a top linebacker in the league for the remainder of the season.

Kwon told his team “don’t take anything for granted” after his injury. It is a grim reminder that anything can happen any given game. Especially for the worse.

Notably the Browns offense seemed to come to life in the 2nd half while Alexander was sidelined with his injury. With so many key starts out for this game, his presence in the middle was sorely missed.

This Bucs defense will surely miss his leadership and talent on the field if he is in fact out for the rest of the season. Let’s hope that the MRI shows a good report.
