Ever since the signing of DT Ndamukong Suh, one of the top questions of people around Tampa Bay has been will Suh wear number 93? Coincidently former long-time Buc, DT Gerald McCoy, also wore number 93, and was drafted just after Suh at third overall of the 2010 draft.
It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Suh would wear No. 93. Albeit an uncomfortable conclusion with McCoy’s recent release. Greg Auman of the Athletic reports though that the Bucs have not yet confirmed if he will.
Bucs haven't confirmed that Ndamukong Suh will be wearing No. 93 (as Gerald McCoy did for last 9 years), but it sets up a potential first. Bucs have had 20 players in their history earn Pro Bowl nods, all of them with unique numbers. Suh & McCoy would be first pair to share a #.

As reported it would be a potential first for the Bucs. As they would then have two Pro Bowl players that would have worn the same jersey number. Which would make franchise history.
Stay tuned at jersey number details are confirmed.
