This year’s team will look a little different than the previous two. The Buccaneers lost Alex Cappa (G), Jordan Whitehead (S), Ronald Jones (RB), and O.J. Howard (TE) in free agency. The team was able to re-sign Carlton Davis (CB), Chris Godwin (WR), Giovani Bernard (RB), Blaine Gabbert (QB), Leonard Fournette (RB), Ryan Jensen (C), Will Gholston (DL), Breshad Perriman (WR), Aaron Stinnie (G), Zach Triner (LS), and Josh Wells (T). All-Pro guard Ali Marpet also retired this offseason.
The team wasn’t done though, they also traded for All-Pro guard Shaq Mason and signed free agents Russell Gage (WR), Fred Johnson (OL), Logan Ryan (DB), and Keanu .Neal (S). Oh and some guy named Tom Brady came out of retirement, not sure if you knew that. This is the first look at the team under new head coach Todd Bowles.
