Kwon’s first return to Georgia Dome after last year’s emotional game

Two nights before the Buccaneers played Atlanta in the Georgia Dome last year, Kwon Alexander learned that his teenage brother had been shot and killed in their hometown. He still ended up playing that game, racking up 11 tackles. He forced and recovered a fumble on Julio Jones and intercepted Matt Ryan. A penalty negated what would have been a 90-yard interception as well. Not only did that game showcase Alexander’s skills, but it brought the team together as well. Kwon Alexander was quoted saying, “We’ve always been close. This is a family. They’ve been behind my back since I got here, and I’m behind their back. That’s how we’ll always be.”
