Ever since we saw what RB Jacquizz Rodgers was capable of when he rushed for 101 yards against the Panthers and 154 yards against the 49ers, most of us have been curious to see what kind of mayhem Rodgers and Martin can create together. Well, we may not have to wait much longer.
The news about Rodgers’ possible return came out after GM Jason Licht got a medical update sometime Monday morning. Coach Dirk Koetter says that Rodgers could return to practice as early as Wednesday but wouldn’t say much more than that.
We should all be praying that he is ready to go in time for Sunday’s game against Seattle because we can use all the help we can get for that one. Also, I would love nothing more than to see Martin and Rodgers hit the Seahawks’ front seven with a 1-2 punch so hard, it’ll feel like we fired the cannons straight at them.
