Mike Evans: 2017 NFL TOP 100

On Monday, NFL released their top 100 NFL-best players in the league. Mike Evans name was on that list for the second of three years that he has been in the league. In 2015, following his rookie season, Evans was the ranked 75th best player in the NFL. 2016 was Mike’s statistically best season of his career, which the NFL awarded him the 29th best NFL player in the league.

In 2016, Evans had a career-best season with 96 receptions and 1,321 yards. Mike also tied the Buccaneers franchise record in touchdowns for the second time in his career. He first did it in his rookie season back in 2014. Evan has had a history with dropped passes, in 2015 Evans had 11 dropped passes but in 2016 he cut that number in almost half with only 7 dropped passes. This guy is dedicated to being the best wide receiver in the game!

Last year, Mike saw a lot of double coverage’s, due to the fact that the Buccaneers didn’t have a real true threat on the other side. Can you imagine what kind of season he could have had if he had helped last year! Thanks to Desean Jackson, you don’t have to imagine that anymore. Jackson will bring the speed that defenses have to respect or get burnt on the outside. I truly believe that with all the help Mike has on the other side of the field, he will have another career year in 2017.

So how far will Mike climb in the top 100 NFL Best Players in 2018? I see him in the top 10!  Where do you see Mike?
