In October, NFL analyst released his first rookie Top 25 list. Some of the rookies that highlighted his list were: Kareem Hunt, Deshaun Watson, Dalvin Cook, Leonard Fournette, and Buccaneers Kendall Beckwith. Beckwith has 47 tackles, which 40 of those tackles were solo tackles. Beckwith has stepped up in one of the biggest question marks the Buccaneers had at the start of the season.
On Wednesday, Jeremiah updated that list of his Top 25 rookies. Some of the previous rookies have fallen out due to injuries or just other players stepping their game up. Some of the newly ranked guys in the top 25 are Shaq Griffin, Carl Lawson, Aaron Jones, Jordan Willis, and Buccaneers O.J. Howard. Howard has had kind of a slow start to the season with Brate being one of Winston’s favorite targets. Howard has been used as a blocking tight end, but Howard has really broken out last couple games. Howard has 3 touchdowns and 221 yards on 13 receptions. Howard is averaging 17 per catch.
Sadly there are some of Jeremiah’s current Top 25 rookies that will not make his rankings next go around. Watson (torn ACL) and Johnathan Allen (foot) both had significant injuries that had brought their season to an end. With those guys for sure to drop out MAYBE, Kendell Beckwith will slide in the Top 25 again. GO BUCS!
